McHale’s Environmental Insulation Co., a family owned business is a PG & E approved and participating insulation contractor serving the Concord, Oakland, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Orinda, Berkeley and surrounding areas of California.
Tom and Shelly McHale established the company in 1978 and pride themselves on delivering affordable, energy-efficient residential and commercial insulation throughout the Greater Bay Area. Current, President/Owner, Daniel Hair took over the business in 2007 and brings more than 20 years of journey-man experience to every project. Specializing in cellulose, fiberglass, cotton, and radiant barrier insulation, our professional crews deliver thermal and acoustic control for homeowners and business owners.

At McHale’s Environmental Insulation Co. our professional insulation installation services include both new custom plus existing homes and buildings. We specialize in the insulation of Attics, Walls & Floors as well as provide insulation removal services. Using state of the art building science techniques and equipment, we can diagnose inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve them.
We guarantee, for the lifetime of the structure, that cellulose insulation will not settle or lose its R-Value. (Cellulose Only) You will be more comfortable with us.
